About Lee

Why this question? Because it found me first.

I'm Lee. For over twenty years I've worked closely with people at moments of change: the promotion that felt like a door closing, the children leaving, the success that arrived and somehow didn't land. I kept noticing the same thing. The most capable people in the room were often the most quietly lost.

I recognised it because I'd felt it too. That restlessness that won't be reasoned with. The sense of living slightly to one side of your own life. When I found psychosynthesis, I found a psychology that didn't treat that feeling as a fault. It treated it as a call.

So I trained. I hold an MA in Psychosynthesis Psychology from Middlesex University and I'm now training as a psychotherapist at the Institute of Psychosynthesis in London.

I'm registered with UKCP as a trainee therapist and working towards UKCP accreditation, and I'm a member of the Association of Psychospiritual Practitioners.

My way of working is relational, warm and direct. I'm Scottish, so you'll get both in roughly equal measure. I'm curious about the whole of you: the parts that perform, the parts that resist, and the part that keeps asking what all this is for. I won't hand you a framework. I'll stay with you while you find your own way through.

I'm not the right therapist for everyone. If you want quick tips, there are better places to start. But if you suspect your life is asking something of you, and you're ready to listen, I'd be glad to hear from you.
