The Considered Life

Psychospiritual psychotherapy in London

For people looking for meaning, direction and a sense of purpose. In person in East London.

Welcome

The Considered Life is a quiet place to think about what matters, with someone alongside you. I'm Lee, a qualified counsellor and a psychotherapist in training at the Institute of Psychosynthesis in London. I work with people whose lives look fine from the outside, but who feel flat, restless or quietly unsure what it's all for.

This isn't about fixing you. It's about making room to listen to what that restlessness might be asking, and finding your own way towards what matters.

If you'd like to talk, you're welcome to get in touch. There's no obligation.

Who comes to this work

Perhaps some of this sounds familiar

  • You may be doing well, and feel strangely absent from your own life.
  • You may be circling a decision, or sensing that something wants to change and not know what.
  • You may be asking what all this is for.
  • You may have built the life you were supposed to want, and found it quieter than you expected.
  • You may simply be tired of being fine.

None of that means something is wrong with you. Often it means something in you is asking a bigger question, and it deserves a proper hearing.

About psychosynthesis

A psychology that looks both ways

Psychosynthesis was founded by the Italian psychiatrist Roberto Assagioli in 1911. It is a psychology that takes your past seriously, and also looks forward: towards meaning, values and what is trying to emerge in your life.

Longing and restlessness are not treated as symptoms to be removed. They can be signals worth listening to.
